Employees of the School of Petroleum and Gas Engineering got the State Prize of the RF Government

Arkady Efimov, Vladimir Krinin and Viktor Sibgatulin, employees of the School of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, Siberian Federal University, became laureates of the State Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology. The prize was awarded for creation and development of the raw material base of hydrocarbons in Eastern Siberia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

On behalf of Alexei Dodatko, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk Territory, member of the regional parliament Yuri Zakharinsky presented certificates of gratitude to veteran geologists.

”Fifty years ago, Krasnoyarsk Territory imported oil and gas. Today, our region claims to be the leader in oil and gas production in Russia. The Vankorskoye, Yurubchenskoye, Kuyumbinskoye deposits are being developed. Next in line is the large-scale development of the hydrocarbon resources of the Yenisey Arctic. It is the work of geologists, geophysicists, drillers, and scientific researchers that has formed the investment attractiveness potential of Krasnoyarsk Territory, which ensures the sustainable development of the economy and the material well-being of the region”, said Yuri Zakharinsky.

Yuri Filiptsov, Head of the Department for Subsoil Use in the Central Siberian District of Rosnedra, and Roman Ayupov, Director of School of Petroleum and Gas Engineering of Siberian Federal University expressed gratitude to the geologists.
