UN Radio broadcasts an interview on the UN model at SibFU

Vasily Nikulenkov, the organizer of the UN Krasnoyarsk model, Director of Geopolitics Centre at the International Department was interviewed by the UN Radio, New York, in May 2013. He spoke about young people in Russia and their participation in creating the UN model.

This was Vasily's second interview for the UN Radio. The first interview in January 2013 was about the university technologies of administering diplomatic projects and about young people's concerns in Russia.

According to Vasily Nikulenkov, the UN model has been developing at SibFU since 2010. This is connected to a stronger international profile for SibFU and an increased global interest to Krasnoyarsk krai.

«Russia boasts more than fifty major UN projects (from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok). However, the US journalists were interested in Krasnoyarsk experience of modelling the United Nation's work.

Siberian project is different. It forecasts the decisions of 'real' UN, gives feedback for accepted resolutions, models the UN agencies, and employs unique national attributes of modelled countries (international online training sessions)», — Vasily Nikulenkov said.
