Mongolian engineers get training at SibFU

Ten Mongolian engineers will be attending a ten week training course at the Polytechnic Institute, SibFU. The training will be undertaken at the Centre of Training, Retraining and Accreditation.

According to the Head of Professional Training at SibFU Victor Kolot: «Professional Training at SibFU has been involved in stable international collaboration. The university provided training to specialists from Belorussia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

The administration of Mongolian-Russian Erdenet Mining Corporation (EMC) applied for training services to SibFU's Training Centre last year. We provided training to three specialists and it was a successful experience. We observe the increase in the number of applications (ten EMC's employees) this year».

Erdenet Mining Corporation supplies copper and molibden concentrates to international markets. SibFU offers two training programmes and they will be about the technical condition of lifting equipment.

Training is provided at Polytechnic Institute's Centre of Training, Retraining and Accreditation (Centre's Head is Alexandre Smolin). The departments responsible for teaching are the Department of Lifting Equipment and the Department of Electrotechnical Systems.
