For more than 10 years, the Spanish Language Center and the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the School of Philology and Language Communication has been organizing the Russian Language School.

This year, 14 people from Spain, Italy, Japan, the USA and Turkey, both students from partner universities and private applicants, are taking part in the school. The participants will have productive daily Russian language classes and full immersion in the linguistic environment during the exciting workshops. There are groups of different levels – from beginner to advanced (A1–B2/C1).

Olga Gevel, director of the Spanish Language Center of the School of Philology and Language Communication: «The Russian Language Summer School has traditionally become a landmark event for all those who are keen on the Spanish language since it was originally conceived as a project of international cooperation with the partners of SibFU — the University of Cadiz and the University of Alicante. However, the school soon became popular far beyond the borders of Spain, and now people of various origins participate in it. We hope that the remote format will not prevent the participants from feeling like being a part of Siberian Federal University».
